September 27th to September 29th, 2024 - Iowa/Nebraska Exchange – Baymont Inn, 1314 12th Stret SW, Le Mars, Iowa. Dress is casual. Friday, Sept 27 – 1:00 PM registration at the hotel. Friday, 6:00pm to 8:00 pm choose a local restaurant or try one of the food trucks at the hotel. Saturday, Noon enjoy an Iowa Buffett at the Central Event Center followed by “Oh, My Iowa!” and original musical tribute at 1:30 pm, then visit the Wells Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor to taste and shop. Thursday, October 3, 2024, 6-9 PM. Retrieving Freedom Shindig at the Waverly Area Veterans Post, 300 4th St. Waverly, Iowa to raise funds for the training and placement of Service Dogs for Veterans with disabilities and child with autism. Saturday, October 5, 2024 – DA DOO Dog Run 5K Fun Run/Walk come exercise, fellowship and fundraise for our 2024 Project “Oh the Pawsabilities” for Retrieving Freedom project at Mally’s Weh-Weh-Neh-Kee Park, 5792 NE Berwick Drive, Berwick, IA 50032. Registration Deadline is September 20, 2024. $40 registration fee (payable to “Iowa Grand Chapter” includes a cool t-shirt. Check in at the park at 1:00 PM.
